A sales plan sets out what the team is expected to close, from whom, and how. The number at the top of one is usually a decision rather than a calculation — and the gap only shows up at the end of the quarter. This plan does the arithmetic in advance: your target, at your deal size and your win rate, requires a specific number of opportunities and a specific number of leads, and your team can hold a specific number of meetings. Whether those two numbers meet is the plan.

What you get

  • Target to deals to opportunities to leads, each line calculated from the one below
  • The pipeline value the target implies, and its coverage ratio
  • Your team's real meeting capacity over the period, against what the target needs
  • A quota per person per month anyone can sanity-check
  • A warning when the sales cycle is as long as the period you are planning
  • Ideal customer, lead sources, stages and objections in your own words
  • An Excel workbook with live formulas: change the win rate and the whole plan moves

A target that was never checked against the team

Sales targets are usually set from what the business needs rather than from what the team can do, and the two are only compared in hindsight. Multiplying out is not hard — deals, then opportunities, then leads, then meetings — but it is rarely done before the quarter starts, because the spreadsheet that would do it is the one nobody built. The other thing this plan checks is subtler: if your sales cycle is twelve weeks and you are planning a twelve-week quarter, nothing you start in the period closes inside it. The deals that land were already in your pipeline.

Questions founders ask

How does it decide the target is not reachable?

It compares the opportunities your target requires with the meetings your team can actually hold: people, times real meetings a week, times the weeks in the period. If the requirement is larger, the plan says so and names the three levers — more people, a higher win rate, or a smaller target.

What if I do not know my win rate?

Use last year's if you have it, and a deliberately conservative estimate otherwise. The point of the workbook is that you can change it afterwards and watch the whole plan move, so a wrong first guess costs nothing.

Does it model ramp time for new hires or seasonality?

No. It assumes a constant rate through the period and does not model ramp, seasonality or deals already in progress — the plan says so in its own disclaimer. Adjust the period or the number of people if either matters to you.

Does it work in Arabic?

Yes, and the Arabic is written rather than translated. The plan, the tables and the Word and Excel files are all right-to-left, and financial figures stay in Latin digits so the prose and the spreadsheet match.

Is it free?

Writing the plan and reading it in full on screen is free and needs no card. Downloading the Word, PDF and Excel files is a one-time payment, and the files are yours permanently.
