A marketing plan is where a founder or a marketing manager sets out who they are talking to, what they say, and what they are spending to say it. Almost every template for one stops at a list of channels with a budget beside each — which is why so many plans are approved and then quietly miss, because nobody ever multiplied the numbers out. This one does: your spend, at your own cost per lead and conversion rate, buys a specific number of customers a month, and the plan compares that to the target you set.
What you get
- A channel table where leads, customers and cost per customer are all calculated
- The check most plans skip: does this budget actually reach your target?
- Cost per customer measured against what a customer is worth to you
- Audience, positioning and message — with proof kept separate from claims
- The dates that move demand in your market, in your own words
- Channels you have not costed yet marked as unplanned rather than counted as zero
- An Excel workbook with live formulas: change a cost per lead and the answer changes

A budget that was never multiplied out
The most common failure in a marketing plan is not a bad channel choice — it is that nobody did the arithmetic. A plan spending on four channels at a stated cost per lead and a stated conversion rate is a plan that already knows how many customers it buys, and whether that is forty against a target of two hundred. The second failure is quieter: one channel that costs more per customer than a customer is worth, losing money on every single sale while the total still looks reasonable. Both are calculated here and stated plainly.
Questions founders ask
What if I do not know my cost per lead?
Leave it blank. That channel is then marked as not planned rather than counted as zero customers — zero reads as a fact, and it is not one. Use your own numbers if you have run the channel, and a published benchmark otherwise, noting that you did.
How does it decide a channel is losing money?
It compares that channel's cost per customer to what you said a customer is worth over their whole relationship with you. If the cost is higher, the channel loses money on every sale, and the plan says so by name rather than burying it in a total.
Does it promise results?
No, and be wary of anything that does. Every customer number here is arithmetic over assumptions you supplied — they are not forecasts, and marketing results depend on execution, competition and timing that no document models. The plan says this in its own disclaimer.
Does it work in Arabic?
Yes, and the Arabic is written rather than translated. The plan, the tables and the Word and Excel files are all right-to-left, and financial figures stay in Latin digits so the prose and the spreadsheet match.
Is it free?
Writing the plan and reading it in full on screen is free and needs no card. Downloading the Word, PDF and Excel files is a one-time payment, and the files are yours permanently.
No card. Answer the questions, read the whole document, decide about the files afterwards.
