Fawry
Egypt's payments backbone: 300k+ payment points from corner kiosks to mobile apps.
Fawry built payment rails for a cash-first economy: bill payments at any kiosk, then banking services, merchant acquiring, and consumer finance on top. EGX-listed (2019), Egypt's first tech unicorn (2020). Example profile — reconstructed from public sources to show founders what a completed StartupKit showcase page looks like. Fawry is not a StartupKit customer.
